What is the general maintenance of large rollers?
Maintaining a large roller is a systematic job that involves several aspects of maintenance and inspection. The following are some routine maintenance methods:
1. Transmission maintenance:
- The transmission should be cleaned at least once a season. When cleaning, first stop the car in a hot condition, unscrew the oil drain screw plug at the side end of the transmission, drain the
lubricating oil, and then screw the oil plug back on. Then, the box filled with kerosene, start the diesel engine, so that the gearbox low-speed operation for 2-3 minutes, stop the kerosene, cleaning
oil plug and screwed to the gearbox. Note that the kerosene must be cleaned and discharged, so as not to mix the lubricant with residual kerosene and lose the lubricating effect. Then add new
lubricant, add until the oil level to the dipstick mark line. Use No. 20 gear oil for the transmission.
2. Checking and adjusting the speed change maneuvering mechanism:
- The positioning devices of the variable speed manipulating mechanism and the reversing mechanism must be checked and adjusted frequently to keep the gears in the proper position so as not
to cause an out-of-gear accident.
3. Check seals:
- Frequent attention must be paid to checking the leakage of the seals of the gearbox, and if the seals are damaged, they should be replaced in time.
4. Check the coupling bolts:
- Always check the coupling bolts between the gearbox and the frame, tighten them if necessary and do not loosen them.
5. Engine maintenance:
- Change engine oil and oil filter regularly to ensure engine lubrication and cleanliness. Check the engine cooling system to ensure that the coolant is sufficient and circulates normally.
6. Hydraulic system maintenance:
- Check the oil level and quality of the hydraulic oil, and change the hydraulic oil regularly. Check the hydraulic lines and fittings to ensure there are no leaks.
7. Tire maintenance:
- Check the air pressure and wear of tires, and perform regular tire inflation and replacement. Ensure tires are balanced to reduce wear and tear.
8. electrical system maintenance:
- Check electrical wiring and connectors to ensure there are no short circuits or poor contact. Clean and inspect the battery regularly to ensure the electrical system is working properly.
9. Daily Inspection:
- Before and after each use, check the roller's components for proper functioning, including but not limited to lights, gauges, joysticks, etc.
These maintenance measures will ensure proper operation and prolong the service life of the Large Roller.
